Stroget claims to be Europe's longest pedestrian street, and whether or not that's true, it takes real commitment to walk its full length without stopping. The Round Tower lets you climb to the top via a spiral ramp wide enough for a horse — Peter the Great reportedly rode up it. Side streets off the main drag hold the real finds: courtyard cafes, design shops, churches where the acoustics stop you mid-step. Copenhagen's center is walkable the way a sentence is readable — it just flows.
