Walking loops in Djurgården, Stockholm

An island given over almost entirely to museums and oak trees, which is a very Swedish allocation of resources. The Vasa Museum houses a warship that sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 and was pulled from the harbor three centuries later, still largely intact. ABBA The Museum is more fun than you expect. The walking paths through old-growth forest feel implausibly wild for somewhere ten minutes from the city center. Bring layers; the water makes its own weather.
