Lake Bled walking loops — Slovenia's alpine lake circuit
The lake is small enough to walk around in under two hours, but nobody actually does it that fast. The island church demands a rowboat detour, Bled Castle watches from the cliff above, and the Julian Alps frame everything with a scale that makes the lake feel intimate rather than small. Ojstrica viewpoint earns its reputation — a steep scramble through forest to a ledge that reveals the whole composition. The cream cake at the Park Hotel is non-negotiable.
